Future Plans
2010/2011. AAPAE plans two Invitations during the 2010/2011 season: the 6th Annual Invitational at Lincoln Center and the 2nd annual American World Stage Invitational Kennedy Center in Washinton, DC.
Though groups previously performing with AAPAE have precedence, both Invitationals will probably be functioning mainly as auditions for the AAPAE London 2012 Invitational
2011/2012. AAPAE may schedule an audition Invitational, but will be actively working with the 100+ groups coming to the London 2012 Invitational, which will include choruses, orchestras, ethnic and folk performing groups as well as dance of all styles.

Producer Matt Straub spent two weeks in England August of 2007, meeting with AAPAE’s British travel coordinator, visiting venues in Canterbury, Brighton, Salisbury, Cambridge and the Isle of Wight. He also spoke with staff at Southbank Centre in London, laying groundwork for future collaboration with British performing groups.
AAPAE announced a new series at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C. entitled The American World Stage . This series will invite the diplomatic corps and welcome performing groups from all over the world as fellow participants with groups from across the USA.
In March, 2008 producer Matt Straub visited Kiev and Odessa, Ukraine.
