Help Support AAPAE programs

It takes YOU to support the performing arts

AAPAE is a volunteer organization.

What can you do?

You could recommend a performance group.  The group should have the ability and skill to perform convincingly, but need not be “preprofessional.”   Our focus is the group’s growth, not its competitive worth.  The group should have a strong Director and community support.  Finally, the group should see this opportunity to perform on a world class stage for a throng of fellow young performers as the exciting artistic opportunity it is.

You could recommend an ethnic performance group.  “Ethnicity” is in danger of being lost in America as we join the great American melting pot.  People cherish their heritage through songs and dances of their traditional performing arts.  AAPAE works to promote groups and communities of all heritages.

You could volunteer to help at one of our performances in New York City.  This is an active role.  We provide performing groups as needed with guides to make sure each gets to proper locations in a timely manner .

You could contribute and support an annual Scholarship Award such as the Del Kieffner Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes an outstanding director, or the William and Kaye Rosenthal Award which focuses solely on need.  Both cover all performance expenses of a Lincoln Center mainstage appearance for a deserving group which might not have access to communityresources that most youth performing groups have.

You could establish a named scholarship award covering performance expenses for a group stipulated by your conditions, in annual consultation.

AAPAE has many exciting performances and possibilities and unique locations coming in the future.

You could be a part of it!
