AAPAE announces a new series at Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. called The American World Stage

This series will invite the diplomatic corps and welcome performing groups from all over the world as fellow participants with groups from across the USA.

A performance here serves as audition for the AAPAE London Invitational 2012.

Directors Mark Jacob and John Gehrig and Producer Matt Straub are currently in London meeting with venue representatives in preparation for the AAPAE London Invitational 2012.

The Fourth Invitational at Lincoln Center was an educational and a performing success!

We thank the backstage staff at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center for supporting our mission.

We thank the innovative directors and the performers who practiced unending hours to make this a successful event.

  • We present a variety of series featuring mainstages at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center and on major London stages concurrent with, but not connected with the London Summer Olympics.
  • Mainstage performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts also serve as auditions for the AAPAE London 2012 Invitational.
Our groups do the seemingly impossible ~ participate as individual performing groups in a superior presentation, in front of a full house, on a stage normally inaccessible to all but major performance organizations.  AAPAE is such a major performance organization because it is you and us, together.
